Jazz Singer Marti Mendenhall is an outstanding entertainer, songwriter, producer and host of Marti’s Music Kitchen, the fun creative cooking podcast where anything can (and does) happen! The podcast episodes are just a kick to listen to, sometimes with live performances, a ton of laughter and lots and lots of amazing food.
She interviews musicians, chefs, food-lovers and creative people - sometimes cooking and even singing on air. She delights in the discovery of each interview, the surprises and the tremendous creativity of each dish. The food experience is an adventure in itself.

There are a wide variety of creative guests, from chefs to artistist and musicians. Including Jazz Songstress Tahirah Memory, Zia McCabe of the Dandy Warhols, Mark Bitterman from the International Bitterman Salt Co and The Meadow, and singer-songwriter, Naomi LaViolette.
Marti is also an engaging performer, whose live shows are an enigmatic blend of jazz-pop originals and standards, and she teaches every audience to scat right along with her. She is often featured in Oregon Music News, and her vocal improv solos have been compared with Karrin Allyson and John Pizzarelli. An Oregon native with a bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance from University of Northern Colorado, Marti keeps expanding her talents into new projects and compositions. Her love of all Holidays contributed to her third album release of the Christmas Holiday Original, “Here I Am Home." Her directing debut came with the Here I Am Home Video, which was written and produced by Mendenhall and is available on the Marti Mendenhall YouTube Channel.
